Ann's Drawing Room

The Drawing Room takes its name from the Victorian custom of a space where guests would "draw" away from formal gatherings, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and connection.   With its luxurious king-sized bed and indulgent antique bathtub, this room exudes elegance, inviting guests to slow down, bask in the charm, and share intimate moments in a setting that feels both grand and deeply personal.

Ann’s Room is a tribute to the heart and soul of The Starrett House — Ann herself, for whom the home was lovingly built.  A space that embodies warmth, grace, and quiet elegance, this room invites guests to step into a world of timeless comfort. The soft floral patterns, vintage furnishings, and serene color palette reflect Ann’s nurturing spirit and the sense of calm she brought to the house. It’s a space where you can unwind, reflect, and embrace the same gentle hospitality that Ann once so generously shared.
